What is the JEE Advanced study plan after JEE Main?+
JEE Advanced demands deeper conceptual mastery than JEE Main. After clearing Mains, a typical JEE Advanced study plan shifts from 'cover the syllabus' to 'solve IIT-level problems' — usually 3–4 hours/day of PYQs + H.C. Verma, Resnick Halliday, O.P. Tandon. The planner's 'Revision Needed' column is where you flag topics where your JEE Main-level understanding isn't enough.
Is the JEE Advanced syllabus different from JEE Main?+
The syllabus overlap is ~90%, but JEE Advanced questions require multi-concept problem-solving at higher difficulty. Topics like Electrostatics, Mechanics, Organic Chemistry, and Calculus see much deeper treatment. Same topic cards in this planner — but treat them as 'revision + mastery' work, not 'first-pass learning'.

How many hours should I study daily for JEE Advanced?+
Post-Mains, 8–10 hours/day for 4–6 weeks is typical. But focus-quality > hours: 6 hours of deep problem-solving beats 10 hours of skimming. The planner tracks topics completed, not hours spent, because that's what actually correlates with Advanced rank.
Can I crack JEE Advanced without coaching?+
It's harder than cracking Mains without coaching, but possible.
